Training

CHANCES inspires developments which have an impact far beyond the individual measures. We change the self-image and the thinking of executives, sharpen their perception and intuition. Executives grow in line with the complexity of their organization in order to act more effectively.

Fine-tuning for executives and organisations

Evolutionary organizations need leaders who have a high level of maturity and understand their dynamics. Executives who can position themselves flexibly in their organisation will shape more appropriate processes, for example with regard to conflicts, so that the system regulates itself. Executives must be prepared to learn and develop with their organisation on an ongoing basis. The seminar programme “Leadership Synchronization” prepares for these challenges. The modules address the fine tuning between individual leadership and organisational structures. Through the previously determined level of maturity, the executive is specifically supported in his or her development in order to be able to master challenges appropriately.

Question from client
„How can I develop my present perception of myself as an executive with the new challenges that the organization is facing?“

Methodology

Chances IconTo get the program started, CHANCES first identifies the personal development goals of the executives attending from various industries and organisations. These conversations allow the group to get to know each other and creates a cooperative environment. Afterwards a continuous development process begins, with coaching, peer-to-peer consultation and feedback from the group: this allows managers to work on their individual development topics as well as ascertain and develop personal patterns of thinking and behaviour. The process circle is closed with a personal reflection session and through feedback from the programme participants and consultants.

Finally a programme which, over a period of a year, offers the chance to continuously observe your own process and reflect upon it, focus on it and where necessary adjust it in a protected setting.Alexander Barekzai, sales manager, Provinzial Rheinland Versicherung AGAlexander Barekzai - Kundenstimme

Time for development topics

Virtually all experienced executives have attended at least one leadership seminar, so many of them possess adequate knowledge here. What they often lack is the freedom to continue working on the areas identified as necessary for their development; they lack time to take stock and reflect on these topics. CHANCES offers precisely that: FREEDOM – Supervision days for executives. Not just current or fundamental professional issues are discussed in a small group and in a confidential setting. Often, important topics such as problematic patterns of thought and behaviour only come to light through the inspiring process of reflection and debate. Based on real-world situations and feedback from consultants or other participants, new perspectives can emerge that also inspire other solutions.

Question from client
I’d like to engage with executives from other organizations on a specific leadership issue and get their feedback.

Methodology

To start things off, the participating executives from different industries and organisations have the chance to get to know each other and discuss questions they have brought along. This creates a mutual basis for trust and close collaboration. CHANCES then discusses the methodological approach with the group, before the individual topics are each addressed through peer-to-peer consultation and, if necessary, consolidated through one-to-one supervision. The executives benefit in particular from advice they get on their areas of development and recommendations for the next development stages. If necessary, concepts or ‘maps’ are incorporated to help better classify phenomena and patterns.

Client quote

The diversity of perspectives and experiences as well as the openness of the participants make the seminar very interesting. Mike Michels’ approach as facilitator is goal-oriented, and yet he also addresses the needs of each participant individually. This aspect, as well as the group work on specific topics, gave me insights which I was subsequently able to work with straightaway. To sum up: highly recommendable. I’m looking forward to Part 2.
