The purposes of and legal basis for the processing of your personal data
Your personal data will be processed pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (b) of the GDPR for the purpose of delivering our services and implementing contractual measures as well as answering enquiries. We also process your personal data pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (c) of the GDPR in the course of carrying out administrative tasks. The purpose of this data processing is to perform duties relating to administration, office organization, financial accounting and archiving.

Categories of personal data
Processed personal data includes: First and last names, contact details (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), position in your company and function, contract data (e.g. services used, contract subject matter/contract terms, contractual communication, names of contact persons such as personnel management) as well as coaching and workshop contents. The nature and the scope of the personal data processed are governed by the agreed services upon which they are based.

Recipients of your personal data
For invoicing purposes, certain personal data (first name, last name and services used) may be passed on to third parties in your company (e.g. personnel management, accounting department) or payment service providers commissioned by your company. In addition, personal data may be transmitted to tax consultants and the federal tax office as part of administrative activities.

We store your personal data in a Business Dropbox account cloud-storage service provided by Dropbox Inc. in order to provide you with mobile access to the data, thus ensuring efficient collaboration and communication between yourself and us in the frequent periods when we work away from our office as dictated by the nature of our profession. We have an order processing contract with Dropbox pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.

Data is only otherwise disclosed to external parties or enterprises if this is required as part of the provision of services. We will of course inform you in advance in this case.

Transfer of personal data to a third country
When stored in the Business Dropbox account, your personal data is processed in the context of use of the service in a third country (the US). In this case, your personal data is processed pursuant to Article 45 of the GDPR (the EU-US Privacy Shield) based on a decision made by the EU Commission confirming the adequacy, in terms of EU requirements, of the level of data protection in the US.

Duration of retention period for personal data
In order to ensure that you can make use of our services again after a long interim period, we store your personal data for 10 years. In addition, legal obligations relating to data retention and documentation as defined in the German Commercial Code (“Handelsgestzbuch – HGB”), the German Criminal Code (“Strafgesetzbuch – StGB”) or the German Fiscal Code (“Abgabenordnung – AO”), which require us to comply with longer storage periods, may apply.

Rights of the data subject
You have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed by us, and the right to request details both regarding this personal data and other information, as well as to request a copy of this data (Article 15 GDPR). You additionally have the right to obtain, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you (Article 16 GDPR), as well as the right to demand the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay (Article 17 GDPR). You also have the right to obtain a restriction on the processing of your personal data (Article 18 GDPR), as well as the right to receive the personal data concerning you which you provided us with, and the right to demand its transfer to other controllers (Article 20 GDPR).

In addition, pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you (Article 21 GDPR)

When you register for a seminar by sending us the registration form electronically, you are providing us with personal data. This personal data includes your last name, first name, billing address, telephone number, e-mail address, your position and the company you work for.

Your personal data will be processed pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (b) of the GDPR for the purpose of delivering our services and implementing contractual and pre-contractual measures as well as answering enquiries. We also process your personal data pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (c) of the GDPR in the course of carrying out administrative tasks. The purpose of this data processing is to perform duties relating to administration, office organization, financial accounting and archiving.
